  • NEW ANNOUCEMENTS!

    >> As
    we're moving from fall into winter, students are reminded to protect their books against any moisture. 
         Books that are rarely used and kept in the lockers for extended periods of time are especially
    susceptible to mold. 
         Students will be charged the entire cost of the textbook if there is ANY mold in them.  (11-11-09)


  • General Information
  • >> Please remember to cover ALL of your textbooks! DO NOT come to the Library or Textbook Room
         during your class time.  We are open at lunch and after school to assist you with your textbook
         and library needs.  (added 2/13/09)

    >> Mrs. Kris Nakamoto, Library Assistant

  • Hours
    >> 7:30 - 3:15 pm, including lunch
    >> Library subject to closure due to testing, meetings, or classes scheduled during the day
    >> Students are encouraged to NOT wait until the last minute to complete assignments using the Library resources since unexpected closures do occur

  • Important Textbook Check-Out Information Students MUST have a current student ID card 
    >> 8th graders need their RMS or CMMS ID ~ a class schedule is not sufficient

    >> Replacement SHS IDs can be purchased for $5.00 in the Activities Office, K-1
  • All Library and Textbook debts must be cleared before students can get their textbooks

  • Independent Study Students can get their textbooks after school
    >> You must have a current Independent Study I.D. Card
    >> You must be debt-free
    >> Must have form listing the required textbooks needed (two subjects checked out at a time)

  • Free after-school tutoring by CSF Students on a walk-in basis is available on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.  While this service is available most weeks, please check the Daily Bulletin for exceptions.

    >> Over 68,800 fiction and non-fiction books

    >> Average of 14 books/student (meets statewide goal)
    >> Extensive set of references (for in-library use only)
    >> Daily newspaper:
    Daily Breeze
    >> Magazine subscriptions: Air & Space, Discover, People, Seventeen, Sports Illustrated, Surfer, Time, Newsweek, US News & World Report
    >> Black and white copier machine, 10¢ per page (coins, $1.00 bills accepted, change returned)
